Realistic Solar System
This mural was painted for a 6-year-old boy who is fascinated with space and the solar system. The inspiration image was a printed carpet that had a clear photo style image of the solar system. The wall for this mural was painted blue in advance. The planets were painted in a realistic style in color and in scale. Silver stars were added with paint pen and a shimmery nebula swirls in from the bottom corner. Across from the mural is a realistic moon lamp that hangs on the wall and we added a few constellations of stars to unite the room. As we were painting the image, the client’s son painted a scene on paper using some extra acrylic paint from our kit. He also added silver stars and shooting stars to the final work of art.
